Venue Operations and Grounds Assistant

Mardella Meadows is one of Perth's leading wedding and events venues, and we're looking for a reliable, hardworking Venue Operations Assistant to join our team.

We're looking for someone who isn't afraid of physical work, enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in a job well done. This is a hands-on role where you'll play an important part in setting up weddings and events, maintaining our beautiful venue and helping ensure everything is presented to the highest standard.

No two days are the same, and that's exactly what makes this role so rewarding.

As part of our Venue Operations Team, your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and packing down ceremony and reception spaces

• Moving tables, chairs and venue furniture

• Assisting with venue presentation before and after events

• Lawn mowing, gardening and general grounds maintenance

• General labouring and maintenance tasks around the venue

• Working alongside the venue team to ensure weddings and events run smoothly

• Helping maintain the high standards Mardella Meadows is known for

The ideal person will:

• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Be physically fit and enjoy manual work

• Have a positive attitude and be willing to help wherever needed

• Work well independently and as part of a team

• Take pride in keeping things neat, organised and well presented

• Hold a current Australian driver's licence

• Have experience in labouring, maintenance, landscaping or event set-up (preferred but not essential)

• $30-$40 per hour, depending on experience

• 3–5 days per week

• Rostered Saturdays during wedding season

• A supportive and friendly team environment

• Variety in your work – no two days are the same

• Immediate start available
