Head of Events

The Roundhouse is looking for an experienced Venue & Events professional to lead the events team. This is a unique opportunity to take on a senior venue management role, working with a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across the live music and corporate sector, paired with budgetary and creative freedom to guide the programming of student events both in venue and on the UNSW campus.

The venue encompasses a concert hall, two bars, a beer garden, two lounge areas, and seven conference rooms.

Roundhouse has a diverse clientele of external hirers, partnerships with UNSW departments, and dynamic on-campus programming to service the vibrant UNSW student population.

You will lead the events team, be responsible for managing and responding to enquiries, have accountability for event budgets, lead venue set-ups, and be a primary point of contact for clients during events. You will contribute to the drive for commercial revenue and growth across commercial markets and steer our student events programming to build engagement with our core UNSW demographic.

   1. In a working capacity, tell us about the best event you have worked – what made it great? What did you contribute to make the event a success?

   2. Arc has seven core values that make up our Mission Statement. Provide an example of your alignment with one of these values.
