About the Role

Tenancy Plus provides advocacy and support to renters in public and community housing who are at risk in the inner West and parts of the North of Melbourne. The program works on an outreach basis and intervenes when social housing tenancies are at risk by providing individual support to stabilise the tenancy and reduce the risk of the tenancy breaking down.

Your Qualities

• You will relish the opportunity to contribute to a passionate tight knit team and enjoy thinking creatively about interventions for supporting those at risk.
• You will have the ability to provide holistic support to people with complex behaviours and an understanding of some of the challenges this brings.
• You will have a working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act, VCAT Act and/or Office of Housing/ Community Housing Policies housing.
• You will have an openness to self-reflection, feedback, learning and developing as part of a team.
• You’ll be up for a challenge – every day will be different.

Work Arrangements

• Fixed term position till 30th of June 2027
• 0.8 EFT – 4 days per week
• working one day a week from home
