We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Finance Officer to join our team in Adelaide. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys a varied role across payroll and finance and can make an immediate contribution to a busy and collaborative team.
Reporting to the Finance team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll processing while providing broader support across finance and administration functions.
End-to-end payroll processing
Maintaining payroll records and employee data
Processing new starters, terminations and payroll changes
Managing payroll queries and ensuring payroll compliance
Accounts payable and accounts receivable support
Bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
Assisting with month-end reporting
Maintaining financial records and documentation
Supporting the Finance team with administrative and reporting requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in payroll and finance/accounts administration
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Sound understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
Experience with accounting and payroll systems
Strong organisational and time management skills
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
A positive, proactive and team-focused approach
Immediate start available
Supportive and collaborative team environment
Diverse role with exposure to both payroll and finance functions
