Data Analyt (Entry / Junior)

Role Description The Data Analyst (Entry / Junior) role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the analyst will support data-driven initiatives by collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources, and preparing basic reports or dashboards for internal and client stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include performing exploratory data analysis, assisting with data modeling activities, and contributing to statistical assessments that inform business decisions. The analyst will collaborate with senior team members to document findings, present insights in clear formats, and help maintain data quality and consistency across projects. The position offers exposure to modern data tools and consulting practices within a supportive environment for skill development.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities.Candidates should possess working knowledge of Statistics and basic Data Modeling skills.Candidates should possess clear written and verbal Communication skills for presenting data insights.Familiarity with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and introductory experience with data visualization or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.Exposure to databases and querying languages (e.g., SQL) is a plus.Relevant academic background in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (completed or in progress) is preferred.Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and learn new tools and methods quickly.
