Waiter

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Waiter to join our team at Hemingway's Manly in Manly NSW 2095. This full-time position is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality customer service and contributing to the success of our vibrant coastal restaurant.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing attentive and friendly table service to customers

2. Taking food and drink orders efficiently and accurately

3. Serving meals and drinks in a timely and professional manner

4. Monitoring table availability and seating customers

5. Resolving any customer inquiries or concerns in a courteous manner

6. Ensuring the dining area is well-maintained, clean and set up for service

7. Supervising and supporting junior waiting staff

8. Assisting with inventory management and stock control

What we're looking for

1. At least 2 years of experience in a similar waiting or customer service role

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

3. Ability to work well in a team and independently

4. Enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service

5. Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

6. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required

7. Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification

8. An experience of the French food & service environment is of course of plus.
