About the role
This is a permanent appointment for various hours per fortnight.
We are recruiting to the positions of Endoscopy Suite Clinical Nurse and Endoscopy Pre Admission Clinical Nurse at Mount Lawley Hospital.
The Endoscopy Pre Admission Clinical Nurse is a specialised perioperative role, focused on evaluating, educating, and preparing patients before scheduled endoscopic procedures, utilising the Personify Care digital pathway, to ensure they are medically ready and safe for the procedure.
Please note that staff may be required to work across both Clinical Nurse positions.
About the Opportunity
As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Clinical Nurse provides clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based nursing care is delivered to patients. Facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care. The Clinical Nurse practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
Area Profile: Mount Lawley Hospital is part of the Royal Perth Bentley Mount Lawley Group and is located just minutes from the Perth CBD offering a range of services including Outpatient clinics, general medical, rehabilitation and geriatric services, surgical, day procedures and endoscopy.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for other ‘similar’ vacancies within EMHS and/or the wider WA public sector. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
