Communications Officer - SAP S/4HANA Program - Up to $1000 / Day - 12 Months

We are partnering with a leading organisation to appoint an experienced Program Communications Officer to support a major enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA transformation program focused on modernising ERP, HR/Payroll, Asset Management, Field Services, data, and integration platforms. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile transformation initiative delivering meaningful business change and impacting thousands of employees across a complex enterprise environment.

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite in North Sydney and 2 days WFH
Day Rate: $800 – $1,000 (inclusive of super)
Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract with strong extension potential

The Opportunity

This is a key role within a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program, supporting the delivery of high-quality communications that drive stakeholder engagement and change adoption across multiple project streams.

Partnering with Program Leadership, Project Managers, Change teams, and business stakeholders, you will translate complex technical and project information into clear, engaging, and audience-focused communications aligned to program objectives.

You will gain exposure across major enterprise transformation initiatives spanning ERP, HR/Payroll, technology, asset management, field services, data, and operational change within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and deliver communication strategies aligned to program milestones and business objectives
• Create engaging communications including presentations, newsletters, intranet updates, and executive briefings
• Translate complex technical information into clear, audience-focused messaging
• Coordinate stakeholder communications across business, technology, and leadership teams
• Manage communication plans, calendars, distribution lists, and channels including SharePoint, Teams, and email campaigns
• Ensure consistent messaging, branding, and governance across all communications
• Support change and transformation communication campaigns
• Partner with Project Managers, SMEs, and Change teams to align communications and engagement activities
• Track communication performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Deliver high-quality outputs while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Proven experience in project or program communications within complex enterprise environments
• Previous experience supporting transformation, ERP, technology, or business change programs (comms for an SAP S/4HANA transformation program is a bonus)
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across cross-functional and matrix environments
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience developing structured communication plans and engagement campaigns
• Hands-on experience using Microsoft 365 tools including SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Experience supporting change adoption and business engagement activities highly regarded
