Pharmacist In Charge

Scotts Healthsave Pharmacy | Initially Monday–Thursday | $50–$60 per hour

Ready to lead, not just dispense? Take ownership of day-to-day operations at an established community pharmacy, with autonomy and direct owner support.

We’re looking for a proactive Pharmacist in Charge to lead our Bexley store. You’ll support the team, keep the pharmacy running smoothly and build lasting relationships with our loyal community.

Our services include Webster packs, MedsChecks, vaccinations and an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) serving a very small number of patients.

• Deliver safe, accurate dispensing and practical patient counselling.

• Lead daily operations, delegate tasks and follow through on priorities.

• Support the team with clear expectations and respectful communication.

• Check Webster packs and oversee the packing service, including medication changes, patient records and timely supply.

• Coordinate and grow professional services, including MedsChecks and vaccinations.

• Provide OTP services for our small patient group.

• Oversee stock control, dispensary workflow and required documentation.

• Identify opportunities to improve patient care and store performance.

• Keep the owner informed through regular reporting and clear handovers.

• Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist.

• Strong clinical judgement and community pharmacy experience.

• Confident leadership, organisation and communication skills.

• A hands-on approach and willingness to take responsibility.

• Previous PIC experience preferred, although experienced pharmacists ready to step into leadership are encouraged to apply.

• Z Software experience and vaccination accreditation are advantageous.

• $50–$60 per hour, depending on experience.

• Initially Monday–Thursday, with the potential to add a regular Saturday shift in the future. Saturday availability will be discussed during the interview.

• Day-to-day autonomy with direct owner support.
