The OpportunityPWR is a global leader in advanced cooling solutions, trusted by Aerospace and Defence, Formula 1, NASCAR, Supercars, and high-performance automotive customers worldwide. As our market share grows year on year with the inclusion of Defence sub-system projects, we are expanding our Aerospace & Defence Engineering team and are now seeking an experienced Senior Structural Analysis Engineer with sub-system project experience to help deliver innovative, high-performance thermal management solutions for customers who operate in the world's most demanding environments
The primary role of the Senior Structural Analysis Engineer is to evaluate and validate product designs through advanced structural and dynamic analysis, ensuring performance, reliability and certification requirements are achieved while supporting the successful delivery of customer projects.
Your Skills & ExperienceEngineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline
A minimum of 7 years experience in structural analysis and finite element modelling (FEA) within a product development environment
Experience performing static structural, vibration, modal, fatigue and dynamic analyses
Experience supporting products through the design, validation, testing and certification lifecycle
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality technical outcomes to tight deadlines
Aerospace and/or Defence industry experience, including exposure to subsystem development, will be highly regarded
Working knowledge of aerospace and defence standards such as DO-160, MIL-STD-810 or similar certification requirements will be advantageous
