UNTIED, Barangaroo’s vibrant rooftop bar, is looking for an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join the leadership team.

Sitting high above the heart of Barangaroo, UNTIED is all about tropical cocktails, great food, rooftop sessions, functions and good times. With a busy calendar of events and activations and spaces catering for everything from casual drinks to large-scale functions, this is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality leader who loves a fast-paced venue.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Venue Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of UNTIED, leading from the floor and helping create memorable experiences for our guests.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and motivating the team through busy services
• Supporting day-to-day bar and venue operations
• Coaching and developing team members
• Driving exceptional guest experiences
• Supporting rostering, labour management and operational performance
• Maintaining strong venue presentation and service standards
• Managing stock, cash and operational controls
• Supporting functions, events and venue activations
• Ensuring RSA, WHS and venue compliance standards are maintained
• Taking ownership of the venue in the Venue Manager’s absence

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience as an Assistant Venue Manager, Duty Manager or experienced hospitality leader
• Comes from a busy, high-volume bar, pub or hospitality environment
• Is confident leading teams from the floor
• Has strong bar and beverage knowledge
• Understands labour, stock control and venue financial performance
• Is passionate about developing people and building strong team culture
• Brings energy, initiative and a genuine love of hospitality
• Is comfortable working across a rotating roster including nights and weekends
• Holds a current NSW RSA
