We’re looking for a reliable and hard-working apprentice to join our landscaping crew in Canberra. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and learning practical skills, this is a great opportunity to start your career in landscape construction.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll gain hands-on experience across all areas of landscaping, including:

Hard Landscaping (Construction):

• Paving (patios, walkways, driveways)
• Retaining walls (stone, timber, concrete)
• Decking and pergolas
• Fencing and garden edging
• Outdoor structures (seating areas, fire pits)

Soft Landscaping (Planting):

• Turf installation (natural and artificial)
• Planting trees, shrubs, and garden beds
• Soil preparation and drainage

Other tasks include:

• Installing irrigation systems (sprinklers, drip systems)
• Basic earthworks (levelling, excavation)
• Operating machinery (mini-excavators, compactors)

About you:

• Physically fit and able to handle manual work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Willing to learn and take direction
• Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Works well in a team environment

Essential requirements:

• Valid driver’s licence
• Own reliable vehicle (required before starting)
