Freelance 360° Content Creator
Mobiddiction India Pvt Ltd | India | Freelance / ContractHelp us capture India in 360°.Mobiddiction India Pvt Ltd is looking for experienced freelance 360° photographers and videographers across India to create high-quality immersive content for use in virtual reality (VR) experiences.We are looking for individuals who can independently capture high-quality 360° photographs, 360° video and, where applicable, 360° drone footage based on specific project briefs.This is a freelance/contract opportunity for individual creators only. We are not seeking applications from studios, production houses or agencies.
What you’ll be doingWorking from agreed project briefs, you will independently capture and deliver high-quality:· 360° photographs· 360° video footage and clips· 360° drone and aerial footage, where required· High-quality immersive content suitable for VRThe locations, subjects and content requirements will vary depending on each project and will be communicated as part of the individual brief.
Technical requirementsThe quality of the content is critical because it will be experienced inside a VR headset.Our preferred camera is the Insta360 X5, with the Insta360 X4 also considered where the shooting environment is suitable.
For 360° video, we generally require:· 8K 360° resolution (7680 × 3840 equirectangular)· 30 fps minimum, with 60 fps preferred where conditions allow· H.264 (AVC) encoding· MP4 delivery format· High Profile, Level 5.2· Appropriate high bitrate encoding to preserve image qualityCreators should understand the importance of:· Correct exposure and low image noise· Appropriate shutter speed and motion handling· Locked white balance· Natural colour and minimal grading· Level horizons· Clean stitching and seam lines· Removal or patching of unwanted tripod/nadir elements where required· Stable camera positioning· VR comfort and avoiding unnecessary rapid movement
VR-first approachThis is not simply a conventional photography or videography role.You should understand how 360° content behaves when viewed through a VR headset and how to capture footage that provides a high-quality, comfortable and immersive viewing experience.Camera stability, smooth movement, correct horizons, image quality and clean stitching are particularly important.
Equipment & experienceYou should have:· Professional 360° camera equipment· Experience shooting and processing 360° content· A suitable tripod and supporting equipment· The ability to independently plan and execute shoots· Experience with 360° stitching and post-production· Ability to export and encode content to specified technical requirementsExperience with Insta360 Studio, Adobe Media Encoder, DaVinci Resolve or FFmpeg is desirable.Experience with 360° drone capture will be highly regarded.
Who we’re looking forWe are looking for experienced individual creators who have a strong understanding of professional 360° photography and videography.You should:· Have a strong eye for image and video quality· Understand professional 360° capture· Be technically confident with 360° cameras and post-production· Be able to work independently from a brief· Have your own professional equipment· Be able to travel locally or regionally where required· Take pride in delivering technically accurate, production-ready contentThis opportunity is for individual freelance/contract creators only. Applications from studios, agencies, production houses or other organisations are not being sought.

360° Video· High-resolution 360° video footage· 8K resolution where possible· Minimum 30 fps, with 60 fps preferred· H.264 / MP4· Professionally stitched, levelled and quality checked
360° Photos· High-resolution equirectangular 360° photographs· Professionally stitched and quality checked· Suitable for VR playback

All content will be subject to technical and visual quality review, including VR headset playback testing. We are not looking at purchasing your content clips for an ongoing license fee.
