Maintenance Manager - Part Time

About the Role: 

Join the WeAreLiving Zetland team as our part-time Maintenance Manager and play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming and well-maintained community for our residents.

In this hands-on role, you'll oversee day-to-day maintenance and building operations, ensuring our homes and shared spaces are presented to the highest standard. Working closely with residents, contractors and the wider team, you'll help deliver a seamless living experience by proactively managing repairs, maintenance and facilities activities while fostering a community that people love coming home to.

Your day-to-day will include: 

• Create exceptional living experiences by maintaining homes, shared spaces and community facilities to the highest standard.
• Lead preventative and reactive maintenance programs, ensuring repairs and building services are delivered efficiently, safely and with minimal disruption to residents.
• Build strong relationships with residents, contractors and service partners to ensure maintenance requests and property improvements are managed seamlessly.
• Champion safety, compliance and sustainability initiatives, helping to create a secure, well-managed and environmentally conscious community.
• Support the presentation and long-term performance of the property through effective planning, budgeting, apartment turnover coordination and proactive asset care.

About You: 

You're a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in creating safe, welcoming and well-presented environments that people are proud to call home. You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to resolve issues as you are coordinating contractors, managing compliance requirements and planning preventative maintenance activities. You will also bring: 

• Experience in building, facilities or residential property maintenance.
• Strong practical skills across general repairs and maintenance activities.
• A sound understanding of workplace health and safety, compliance and preventative maintenance programs.
• Excellent communication skills and a resident-first approach to service.
• Valid National Police Check & Working Rights
