Trades Assistant

About the role:

The opportunity is now available for an experienced Trades Assistant to join our service department in our Yatala team. This hands-on role will provide support to the service department, assisting in the service and repair of loaders and machinery attachments, as well as assisting in the detection, diagnosis and troubleshooting of faults.

Responsibilities / Experience & Qualifications:

• Assist in routine repairs, maintenance, and service work 
• Assist in the detection, diagnosis and troubleshooting of faults
• Assist with maintenance services such as oil changes, flow and pressure tests
• Reassemble, test, clean and adjust repaired or replaced parts/assembly

Essential Requirements:

• A background in hydraulics and small engines highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current forklift licence and manual driver’s licence
• A high level of integrity, honesty and reliability
• Product knowledge in the earthmoving industry an advantage
