Bayside Hip & Knee Fellowship

We are currently seeking applications for a 12 month position as the Bayside Hip and Knee Fellow. It is expected that the applicant will hold a FRACS or equivalent in orthopaedic surgery, and will have had experience in arthroplasty and sport surgery.

The role is primarily based Hampton Victoria Australia. The position is a fulltime position for the twelve months. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of patient care and it is hoped will develop the skills necessary to establish an independent practice in Hip and Knee surgery. The fellow will be involved in surgery 2-3 days a week with supervision from a consultant surgeon. There is the opportunity for independent operating when competency has been confirmed. The candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in research and teaching. It is expected that the fellow will present their research at a meeting and submit it for publication by the end of the 12 months.
