Excavator Operator / Labourer

As part of this exciting venture, we are looking for motivated machine operators and labourers to join our Sunshine Coast Team!

What will you be doing?

• Installation, maintenance and repair of stormwater, sewerage, water and related infrastructure

• Pipeline construction and maintenance

• Excavation Operations.

• Operation of MR tipper trucks and other heavy equipment

• General labouring duties including manual handling, concreting, pipe laying, restoration works, machinery spotting, confined space entry, welding and other civil construction duties.

About you:

• Experience in civil construction (water, sewer and pipeline construction preferred but not essential)

• Construction Induction White Card

• Excavator Ticket. Experience operating 5T to 35T machines. Experience operating around live services.

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience (not essential)

• Pipe laying

• Concreting

• MR licence

• Confined space and working at heights tickets
