We're seeking a proactive Greenkeeper to head up a local council sports field mowing contract in the Sutherland Shire. This is a full time position operating a large wide cutting mower and take home transporter, floating between sites across the contract area.

What you'll be doing

• Operate a large wide cutting mower and take home transporter across multiple sites
• Coordinate mowing, line marking and sports field preparation
• Lead and mentor staff maintaining sports field surfaces
• Monitor turf health and implement improvement plans
• Apply fertilisers, herbicides and pest control safely and accurately
• Maintain high WHS standards across all mowing operations and staff
• Liaise with stakeholders and report on turf presentation
• Identify and put forward improvement strategies to the client
• Support overall site presentation, detailing and landscape edging

What we're looking for

• Proven experience operating wide cutting mowers and turf equipment
• Experience towing and transporting equipment between sites
• A proactive approach with the ability to identify and suggest improvements
• Sound WHS knowledge and commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites
• A genuine interest in turf presentation and quality
