Ilim College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary English and Humanities Teacher to join our Dallas Secondary Campus for the 2027 academic year.
This is a full-time, fixed-term replacement position, providing an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and contribute to a supportive and engaging learning environment.
The OpportunityAs a Secondary English and Humanities Teacher, you will play an important role in delivering engaging and meaningful learning experiences that support students in developing their literacy, critical thinking and analytical skills.
You will work collaboratively with teaching staff to plan and deliver high-quality curriculum while fostering a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
What We're Looking ForThe successful candidate will:
Hold appropriate teaching qualifications and current VIT registration
Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in teaching English and Humanities
Create engaging, inclusive and student-centred learning experiences
Have excellent communication and classroom management skills
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the College community
Demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of Ilim College
