About the role
About the role
JA Electrical & Solar is looking for a Content Creator / Videographer to work alongside the team and help become one of the most recognised and trusted sources of solar and battery information in the Gold Coast and Northern NSW region. This is not a traditional corporate marketing role. The company is made up of electricians and solar/battery installers doing real work every day, with constantly interesting things happening on jobs - customer questions, unusual installations, problems with existing systems, new technology, batteries, solar, switchboards, and backup power.
Key responsibilities
Recognise opportunities to capture content on job sites and turn them into useful content
Ensure video and sound is clear and easy to understand
Edit footage efficiently and turn it into as much useful content as possible
Produce approximately 5 long-form YouTube videos per week (generally 8-15 minutes)
Produce approximately 15-25+ unique Shorts/Reels per week
Create simple, informative videos for the public and potential future clients
Drive to job sites some days and work in the office in Tweed Heads on other days for editing
About you
Must have a car to drive to site some days
