Commissioning Lead – Onshore Process Plant

Are you an experienced professional ready to lead commissioning activities on a large-scale onshore process plant? We are seeking a Commissioning Lead to oversee safe and effective execution of commissioning within a dynamic brownfield project environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multi-discipline commissioning execution across E&I, mechanical, piping, controls, and process systems.

• Develop and implement commissioning strategies, plans, logic flowcharts, and preparation activities aligned with project milestones.

• Ensure all commissioning scopes are ready with permits, isolations, materials, and resources in place.

• Drive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance, cultivating a proactive safety culture.

• Liaise and coordinate closely with engineering, construction, completions, and project control teams to meet schedules.

• Provide technical support for start-up and operations, managing completions, handovers, and punch list closure.

• Manage change, risk, and problem-solving throughout commissioning phases.

• Facilitate communication between home office teams and onshore supervision to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Represent the project in meetings with clients, suppliers, and consultants.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Tertiary or relevant trade qualification; PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in onshore oil and gas commissioning, with at least 10 years in construction engineering.

• Strong background in brownfield onshore construction projects, preferably in Australia.

• Proven skills in cost and schedule control, client relationship management, and permit to work systems.

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
