Psychologist - Clinical Psychologist - Perinatal Psychologist.

Are you passionate about applying your psychological skills to working with mothers, babies and young families? Do you want to focus more on clinical work rather than admin? Restored Wellbeing is a niche perinatal psychology practice located in Red Hill, Brisbane.  We are seeking a part time psychologist to join our expanding team.  Working under your own ABN, you will have the opportunity to do both face-to-face work and telehealth. Potential work from home day if desired.  We have positions available during school hours and afterhours depending on your needs.

The Position:

To provide perinatal psychological therapies for women presenting with mental health issues ranging from pre-conception & pregnancy through to parenting/attachment support for young children. We aim to provide high quality, evidence-based treatments whilst creating a safe and supportive environment for our clientele.  There is opportunity to expand the case load presentations if desired.

About You:

• Applicants must hold current registration with AHPRA and indemnity insurance and be willing to attain an ABN and Medicare provider number.

• This position is only suitable for an experienced therapist who can work independently, early career psychologists would not be considered.

• Be available for minimum of 2 shifts/week.

• You will be willing to engage in interventions within a perinatal mental health space.

• Trauma &/or grief and loss experience essential.  EMDR training preferrable.

• You will be compassionate, grounded and able to welcome all clients with respect and sensitivity.

• You will have a flexible approach, including the ability to engage in telehealth sessions when required.

• Be actively pursuing professional development applicable to the perinatal field.

• Ability to work autonomously whilst also willing to engage within a small team.
