The Role
An opportunity exists within our NSW Contracts Division for a Dispatch Officer to obtain full training and development across the daily allocation and management of our fleet of vehicles.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Allocating work to contractors ensuring service parameters are consistently met
Effectively communicating with colleagues and sub-contractors
Ensuring that all written and verbal communication with clients, colleagues & sub-contractors is always professional and courteous
Ensuring that client expectations are met in terms of time and quality in the delivery of our services
Being aware of OH&S requirements and responsibilities, training will be provided
Inbound and outbound customer service/query calls.
Processing of client bookings via phone and email.
Immediate response to emails concerning delivery updates, proof of delivery requests or any other queries.
Providing assistance/ additional information as required to our sub-contractor drivers.
You
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate the following skills and aptitudes:
Strong work ethic
Sound knowledge of the Sydney metro area
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Calm and professional telephone manner
Data Entry Skills - Intermediate
Microsoft Office skills - Intermediate
Self-motivated and well disciplined
High attention to detail and genuine passion for providing superior customer service
Positive and proactive attitude
Reliable and punctual
No experience is required as this is a junior role, and full training will be provided to the right candidate.
