Dermal Clinican

About the role

As a Dermal Clinician at OLÍ, you will provide comprehensive skin consultations and personalised treatment plans, working independently within your scope of practice and collaboratively with the clinic's doctor when appropriate. You will work in a newly established, doctor-led cosmetic and skin clinic in Croydon North with access to advanced skin and laser technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive skin consultations and assessments

• Developing individualised skin treatment plans based on assessment, patient goals and clinical suitability

• Performing advanced skin analysis and clinical photography

• Providing microneedling treatments

• Providing hydrodermabrasion and Korean-inspired skin treatments

• Delivering LED phototherapy

• Performing appropriate laser and light-based skin treatments following training and competency assessment and within scope of practice

• Recommending appropriate professional skincare and home-care regimens

• Providing clear pre- and post-treatment education and aftercare

• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation

About you

• Hold a recognised tertiary qualification in Dermal Science, Dermal Therapies or a related discipline

• Have a strong understanding of skin anatomy, physiology and common skin conditions and concerns

• Have experience working in dermal, cosmetic, dermatology or advanced skin treatments

• Take an evidence-informed and considered approach to treatment

• Be confident conducting detailed consultations and developing treatment plans

• Understand the importance of contraindications, informed consent, clinical documentation and aftercare

• Have excellent communication and patient education skills

• Maintain high standards of infection prevention, hygiene and patient safety

• Work confidently within your scope of practice

• Have a genuine interest in ongoing education and professional development
