Leroy Palmer Consulting Engineers is looking for a Civil Engineer or Civil Designer (graduate to experienced) to join our growing team.
We’re a small, personable consulting engineering firm offering structural, civil, and hydraulic engineering, integrated with building design and architectural services. Our projects range from residential builds to industrial and commercial developments, and we’re known for practical designs, straight-talking advice, and strong relationships with clients and builders.
We pride ourselves on quality outcomes, strong relationships, and continuous improvement.
You'll be part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team delivering practical civil engineering solutions from concept through to construction.
Your responsibilities will include:
Civil design for residential, commercial and industrial developments.
Site grading, earthworks, stormwater management and drainage design.
Preparation of development application (DA), operational works (OPW) and construction documentation.
Road, access and pavement design.
Water, sewer and civil servicing design.
Coordination with our structural, hydraulic and building design teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.
Liaising with clients, builders, architects, surveyors, councils and other consultants.
Managing project priorities and delivering quality documentation on time.
For experienced engineers, the role may also include project management, mentoring graduate engineers, client relationship management and business development opportunities.
You'll fit in well if you:
Have completed (or are close to completing) a Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
Have a sound understanding of civil engineering design principles.
Are eager to learn and develop professionally.
Communicate clearly and work well with clients and colleagues.
Can work independently while enjoying being part of a team.
Take ownership of your work and strive for quality outcomes.
Have a genuine interest in the construction and engineering industry.
Immediate start available.
Hands-on mentoring and structured support for graduates.
Genuine responsibility and autonomy for experienced engineers.
A supportive, collaborative, no-ego team culture.
Exposure to a wide variety of interesting projects.
Opportunities for ongoing professional development and career progression.
A centrally located Toowoomba office close to parks, cafés and great lunch spots.
Please attach your academic transcript with your application (graduates and final-year students only).
