As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to manage a portfolio of simple and complex projects valued at $100k - $10m across the Eastern States.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of multiple large-loss insurance claims from commencement through to completion. You will coordinate project teams, subcontractors, stakeholders, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and deliver commercial insurance repair projects valued at $100k - $10m.

2. Coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors across various project sites.

3. Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely delivery.

4. Monitor project costs, budgets, margins, and contractual obligations.

5. Provide regular updates to insurance companies, property owners, and key stakeholders.

6. Lead project teams and subcontractors to achieve quality, safety, and performance targets.

7. Conduct site inspections and quality assurance reviews.

8. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and WHS requirements.

9. Travel interstate as required to oversee project delivery and client relationships.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

1. Extensive Project Management experience within the Commercial Construction.

2. Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects and insurance claims valued at $100k - $10m.

3. Strong scheduling and resource management capabilities.

4. Proven experience managing multi-trade construction projects from inception to completion.

5. Excellent leadership and people management skills.

6. Strong stakeholder management and client relationship capabilities.

7. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

8. High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.

9. Solid understanding of building regulations, Australian Standards, and WHS requirements.

10. Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar project management software.

11. Trade, Building, Construction Management, or Project Management qualifications highly regarded.
