Supervisor - Mechanical / Shutdown

About the role:

We are currently seeking experienced Supervisors to join our execution team for FIFO roles ex Perth, and DIDO roles ex Karratha for ongoing work. This technically challenging work will see you supervising small crews performing new installations and major componentry change outs on equipment across the mining industry including

• Balance Machines - Reclaimers, Stackers, Ship loaders.

• Crushers - Jaw, Gyro, Cone.

• Trunnions.

• Gear Boxes.

• Apron Feeders.

• Fixed Plant Component.

Pre-requisites:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in Shutdowns as Leading Hand or Supervisor.

• Schedule 26 DMEIRS Certification (Inclusive of modules: BSBWHS414 & BSBWHS411).

• A strong commitment to health and safety.

• The ability to communicate effectively across all facets of the business verbally and in writing.

• Australian recognised trade certificate.

• Current and valid:

  • Driver's Licence.

  • Work Licences (Working at Heights, Confined Space, Basic Fire, White Card, High Risk EWP).

  • Police clearance (or willing to obtain).

• Permanent resident within Western Australia.

• Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical including regular drug and alcohol screenings.

• Rio Tinto and Hancock Iron Ore Inductions (Desirable).
