At Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ), we believe in the power of storytelling. Our content helps CSQ shape the future of the construction industry, and we need a creative, strategic Content Manager to bring it to life. Working collaboratively in the Marketing and Communications team and with internal and external partners, you will oversee the development of content in various forms for a variety of audiences in accordance with a strategic content plan.

About You:

You’re a storyteller at heart, passionate about crafting engaging content across multiple formats. Whether it’s a social media post, a video series, or editorial for major industry events, you love making content that connects with people. You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your ideas are valued.

You’re creative and innovative, with the ability to develop fresh, modern content that connects with different audiences across a range of mediums.

You have strong writing, editing, photography and video skills, along with highly developed verbal and interpersonal communication skills. You’re highly organised and detail-focused, with experience managing content schedules and publishing tools.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and execute CSQ’s Content Strategy, ensuring our voice is fresh, engaging, and impactful
• Manage and mentor a talented Social Media and Content Coordinator to bring content ideas to life
• Oversee CSQ’s content calendar across digital and social platforms
• Create engaging video, editorial, and social content that resonates with our audiences
• Lead the creative direction for video content, including industry case studies and documentary-style features
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to craft compelling, strategic content and assets
• Have a say in brand storytelling, social media strategy, and digital engagement

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a corporate, media or agency setting developing and publishing content for but not limited to social media, website and digital platforms
• Demonstrable experience planning, producing and publishing content in multiple formats for multiple platforms
