About the role
This role combines business development, participant intake and stakeholder engagement. The immediate priority is supporting suitable participants to explore three current SDA vacancies, while ensuring every placement respects the person's needs, goals, preferences, choice and control.
Key responsibilities
Manage SIL/SDA enquiries from initial screening through funding checks, compatibility, intake, tenancy and move-in.
Build and maintain a strong participant enquiry and referral pipeline.
Develop relationships with Support Coordinators, hospital discharge teams, allied health professionals, plan managers and community organisations.
Work collaboratively with participants, families, nominees and treating teams to ensure placements are appropriate and sustainable.
Promote participant choice, control, dignity and independence throughout the intake process.
Maintain accurate CRM records and report on enquiries, conversions and occupancy.
Support the successful placement of suitable participants into the four current vacancies.
Deliver smooth onboarding and transition outcomes.
Grow referral pathways and sector partnerships.
Maintain compliant intake, tenancy and service documentation.
About you
Experience in NDIS business development, intake, partnerships, community engagement or senior Support Coordination.
Strong knowledge of NDIS funding, SIL and SDA.
Established networks within the Sydney disability sector.
A genuinely person-centred and disability-focused approach.
Proven ability to generate referrals and facilitate successful placements without compromising participant suitability or choice.
Strong relationship-building and follow-up skills.
Current driver's licence and ability to meet NDIS Worker Screening requirements.
