• Opportunity to contribute to projects that improve operational efficiency and asset performance Task & responsibilities Developing and maintaining plant maintenance strategy & tactics to ensure minimum plant interruption and production losses Establishing work management programs for maintenance planning, scheduling, execution and analysis of the shutdown and major machine overhauls Analysing machine / equipment downtime events, and performing root cause analysis to identify key factors causing production loss, identifying and implementing preventive measures Review and implement condition monitoring and machine asset health activities to monitor the asset condition developing specifications for manufacture, and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities and layout of plant construction and systems Run cost optimisation project while maintaining plant reliability Establish and update commissioning and installation procedure to ensure safety and productivity Perform Failure Modes & Effect analysis, Equipment criticality analysis and implement the strategy to the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Develop inspection and check sheets for fixed plant and heavy mobile equipment Qualification & experience Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
