Reception/Dental Assistant

Proud Smile Jnr is a modern children's dental practice committed to providing exceptional dental care in a fun, welcoming environment. We are looking for a friendly, organised Receptionist/Dental Assistant to join our team.

This is a part-time position working 4 days per week, with the occasional Saturday.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting patients and their families

• Managing appointments, phone calls and emails

• Chairside assisting the dentists and oral health therapists

• Instrument cleaning, sterilisation and infection control

• Processing payments and health fund claims

• Maintaining a clean and organised reception and clinical environment

• Providing excellent customer service to our patients and families

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience in a dental reception and/or dental assisting role

• Enjoy working with children and their families

• Have a bright, bubbly and positive personality

• Be organised with excellent communication and time management skills

• Be reliable, professional and able to work well within a team

• Be confident using computers and learning new software

• Experience using Praktika software is a bonus, but not essential

• A Certificate III in Dental Assisting is desirable, but not essential

• A supportive and friendly team environment

• A modern, well-equipped practice

• Ongoing training and support
