About This Opportunity

We are currently seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join our Care team at our Moran Engadine home. Above award rates $45 - $54 base per hour.

Shift Schedules

Monday to Friday 06:30am to 14:30pmMonday to Friday 14:15pm to 22:30pmWednesday to Friday 14:15pm to 22:30pm

Reporting to the Care Manager, you will be providing quality nursing care and support to the changing clinical needs of the residents. This includes consulting with residents and their families, staff, management, and other allied health professionals.

Working with a wonderful team of dedicated people, your contribution will make a difference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day.

You will be backed and mentored to ensure you thrive in your role with us and to further develop your skills.

We are looking for motivated individuals with acute clinical experience who enjoy working Morning or Afternoon shifts with availability to work Monday to Friday.

Key Duties

Developing and evaluating individualised resident care plans and completing assessmentsProviding clinical services such as wound management, medication management and palliative careLiaising with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family membersWork with the Clinical Leadership team with more complex clinical managementSupervising and supporting our Personal Care Workers

Skills/Requirements

Current Registration with AHPRACaring and empatheticAble to communicate with a wide range of external and internal stakeholdersStrong leadership skills.Good assessment/prioritisation skillsAble to work effectively and efficiently within a teamProficient level of verbal and written communicationKnowledge of Aged Care Quality StandardsCurrent Police Check (or willingness to obtain).Current influenza vaccination
