In this role:
The Network Officer will be at the centre of a critical road safety and enforcement network, coordinating operational requests, and providing expert support to internal and external stakeholders. You will manage enquiries relating to camera maintenance, access arrangements, site activities and enforcement operations, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally. Working within a high performing team environment, you will play an essential role in maintaining service excellence and supporting the effective delivery of network operations.
You will also help safeguard the reliability and effectiveness of a state-wide enforcement camera network through proactive monitoring and operational oversight. You will track system health, camera connectivity, incident capture performance, time synchronisation and site availability, ensuring potential issues are identified and addressed before they impact operations. By coordinating with technical specialists and service providers, you will contribute to the seamless operation of critical enforcement infrastructure that supports community safety outcomes.
Other duties and responsibilities include (not limited to):
Compliance & Data Management - Processing and maintaining camera certification records within the Camera Enforcement System, ensuring accurate, compliant and up-to-date information that supports enforcement operations.
Operational Administration & Enforcement Support – Managing authorised vehicle registrations and undertake enforcement-related operational activities in line with established procedures and business rules.
Reporting, Records & Coordination - Maintaining operational records, reports and correspondence, and providing support to internal stakeholders and vendors to help ensure the effective operation of the enforcement camera network.
About You:
For you to be successful within this role you should meet with all, or most of the following criteria):
Background in customer service, stakeholder support or administrative roles, with a focus on delivering positive customer outcomesConfidence working with technology and understanding basic technical information, without requiring specialist technical expertiseDemonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detailYou can remain composed and professional when handling a high volume of phone enquiries from internal stakeholders and external vendors

Cert II In Information TechnologyCall centre experience handling technical calls
This is a permanent role. This role is based in a hybrid environment, with 50% of your time spent in the office. You will typically work five days per month from our Parramatta office and a further five days from another TfNSW office location. To support team collaboration though, you will ideally be based in the Parramatta office for the ten days. This is a Grade 5 role, paying between $95,543. 00 - $100,405.00 + super. The grade level will be assessed based on your relevant skills, experiences, capabilities, and qualifications etc.
