Join Our Team at Tradelink – Be Part of Something Bigger! As a Branch Assistant, you’ll be an important part of the North Lakes team, working across customer service, counter sales, warehouse operations and deliveries. It’s a varied, hands-on role where everyone pitches in to keep the branch running smoothly and customers well looked after.
This is a full-time role based in North Lakes, QLD, working Monday to Friday with no weekend work.
A typical day will see you:
- Serving retail and trade customers at the counter.
- Processing customer orders, sales and general enquiries.
- Picking, packing and dispatching orders.
- Managing goods inwards/outwards and inventory tasks.
- Loading and unloading deliveries and courier shipments.
- Completing customer deliveries in the company vehicle.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe branch environment.
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day branch duties.
What we’re looking for: -
Reliable and hardworking – A strong work ethic and someone the team can count on.

Confident communicator – Friendly, positive and comfortable dealing with customers and teammates.

Hands-on and adaptable – Willing to move between counter sales, warehouse duties and deliveries as needed.

Physically capable – Comfortable with regular manual handling and lifting items up to 25kg.

Computer literate – Able to process orders and learn branch systems.

Relevant experience – Plumbing, trade, wholesale, retail or warehouse experience is advantageous, but not essential.

Valid Driver’s Licence – Required for customer deliveries.

Forklift licence – Preferred but not essential; support can be provided to obtain one.

Australian Working Rights – Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
