We are currently seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses with current IV medication administration competency to join our teams. 

This role is ideally suited to Enrolled Nurses who have completed IV medication administration training, are assessed as competent, and are confident working within an acute surgical environment.

We have permanent part-time opportunities available across the following specialty areas:

• Colorectal & Urology
• Oncology & Breast
• Surgical Services
• Orthopaedics
• Procedural Areas

You will work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team, providing evidence-based nursing care while practicing within your scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality, person-centered nursing care within your scope of practice.
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments and contribute to care planning and evaluation.
• Recognise and escalate changes in patient condition and clinical deterioration.
• Administer medications, including IV medications, in accordance with your education, competency, and authorisation.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support safe patient care practices.
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, medical staff, allied health professionals, and the broader care team.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, and learning-focused workplace culture.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and ongoing professional development.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
• Minimum 2–3 years post-graduate Enrolled Nurse experience in an acute hospital setting
• Demonstrated experience caring for surgical patients within a fast-paced clinical environment
• Current competency and experience in IV medication administration
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to recognise and respond to changes in patient condition
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care

Experience in colorectal, urology, oncology, breast, orthopaedic, surgical, or procedural nursing environments will be highly regarded.
