Optimum Health Solutions is an established, multidisciplinary allied health provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care across Tasmania and NSW. With an established multi-disciplinary service in Hobart, we are expanding into Northern Tasmania with the recent opening of our new Launceston location.

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist who is excited by more than just clinical work. This unique role combines hands-on physiotherapy with business development, giving you the opportunity to shape the growth of our presence in Northern Tasmania while continuing to deliver outstanding patient care.

The Opportunity

This is an ideal position for a senior Physiotherapist looking to broaden their career beyond traditional clinical practice. Approximately half of your time will be dedicated to delivering high-quality physiotherapy services, while the remaining time will focus on building our brand, developing referral pathways, and establishing Optimum Health Solutions as a trusted provider throughout Northern Tasmania.

Working closely with our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in the successful growth of our Launceston clinic and have the opportunity to influence future expansion across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Growth

• Build and strengthen referral relationships with GPs, specialists, surgeons, support coordinators, employers, insurers, sporting organisations and community stakeholders.

• Develop and implement strategies to grow the Optimum Health Solutions brand throughout Northern Tasmania.

• Identify new partnership and business opportunities across private, NDIS, occupational rehabilitation, corporate and community sectors.

• Represent Optimum Health Solutions at networking events, community initiatives and industry functions.

• Support local recruitment and assist in building a high-performing multidisciplinary team as the clinic grows.

• Work collaboratively with senior leadership to achieve sustainable growth and expansion objectives.

Clinical Practice

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services across a diverse caseload.

• Maintain a manageable clinical caseload while supporting business development initiatives.

• Contribute clinical expertise to service development and patient experience.

• Uphold professional registration, compliance requirements and clinical excellence.

About You

We are looking for someone who is both an outstanding clinician and a natural relationship builder.

You will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.

• A minimum of five years' clinical experience.

• Demonstrated professional maturity and leadership within your clinical career.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build genuine, long-term relationships.

• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving growth.

• Confidence representing the organisation within the healthcare and wider community.

• The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

• A passion for helping establish and grow a new clinic within an expanding organisation.

Previous business development, leadership or referral management experience is highly regarded but not essential for the right person with the right mindset and relationship-building ability.
