• Experience and understand how staff onboarding typically works for a business
• Shadow our senior engineer for Fortinet FortiTac tickets with an opportunity to work on & troubleshoot ticket/s under supervision
• Shadow our staging specialist, learn the process and assist with staging workloads
• Learn how WiFi survey works with an opportunity to work on actual WiFi survey design
• Understand how warehousing processes interact with other departments requiring relevant equipment
• Shadow our RMA specialist to learn and assist with the RMA process
• Shadow our support engineer and learn how the technical support process works
• Shadow our engineer and learn how internal IT support works with opportunities to take part in internal projects
• Opportunity to participate in a Fortinet course & take an exam with access to our internal Fortinet resources
• Provide Level 1 support for Wavelink’s distributed vendors' products portfolio including:

             o   Spectralink DECT and WIFi

             o   Fortinet Cyber Security solutions

             o   ALE

             o   SOTI

• Troubleshoot issues relating to vendors where Wavelink provides vendor level support e.g. Spectralink DECT and WiFi solutions
• Log cases in our CRM system with clear notes around situation assessment and next steps
• Escalate to senior internal or vendor technical teams where assessment and troubleshoot have been inclusive
• Assist with our Return Material Authorisation (RMA) process for relevant vendors

             o    Log cases with the vendor and in system for warranty / maintenance approval and tracking

             o    Receipt returned goods from partners into our system

             o    Assess fault against logged case

             o    Confirm fault is either warranty or out of warranty related

             o    Quote partner for any out of warranty assessments

             o    Process quotes once accepted by the partner

             o    Issue warranty replacements to partner

Skills & Attributes

• Knowledge of network security
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to analyse and troubleshoot issues
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Sound understanding of common applications such as Microsoft Office
• Have a passive to learn new skills & technologies
• Be a team player
