We have 2 exciting 1st Year Carpentry Apprenticeship opportunities available — with one position on the north side of Brisbane and one on the south side!

NTHA Trainees & Apprentices is looking for motivated and reliable people who are ready to start a career in carpentry.

You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople, gain hands-on experience and learn the skills needed to become a qualified carpenter. You'll work with timber, use power tools, assist tradespeople and help keep worksites clean and organised.

🔨 What you'll be doing & learning

• Work with timber and building materials
• Safely use hand and power tools
• Assist experienced tradespeople with carpentry tasks
• Learn basic carpentry techniques and construction methods
• Measure, prepare and handle materials
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organised
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Work as part of a team to complete jobs
• Develop practical skills through hands-on training
• Build confidence and knowledge on the job

• Physically fit and ready for practical work
• Willing to assist tradespeople and learn on the job
• Able to follow instructions and work safely
• Have your own reliable transport
• Hold a White Card or be willing to obtain one
• Hold full working and study rights in Australia
