About the role

Join The Royal Melbourne Hospital as a People Services Advisor and support managers and employees across the full employment lifecycle. You’ll provide clear advice across the employee lifecycle, helping managers and employees navigate employment changes with confidence and ease.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing expert guidance on complex contracting matters and partner with People Information and Payroll to resolve issues and deliver a smooth employee experience.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage end-to-end employment contracting and lifecycle compliance across a dedicated portfolio.
• Provide expert advice to managers and employees across the employee journey.
• Oversee SuccessFactors workflows, ensuring accurate data and timely approvals.
• Partner with People Information and Payroll to resolve contract and pay-related issues.
• Act as the first escalation point for complex contracting matters and compliance risks.
• Coach and mentor Onboarding Advisors and contribute to process improvement and quality assurance.

About You

You’re an experienced HR operations professional who understands the importance of a seamless employee lifecycle and brings:

• Experience across HR operations, employment contracting, onboarding and workforce compliance.
• Sound knowledge of EBAs, the Fair Work Act and classification structures, with the ability to interpret and apply them confidently.
• Experience with HRIS workflows, ideally SuccessFactors and/or SAP.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to investigate and resolve pay, data and compliance issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to advise across all levels.
• A commitment to The Melbourne Way – putting people first, leading with kindness and achieving excellence together.
• Experience in healthcare, government or another complex, regulated environment will be highly regarded.
