Transport Scheduler PM

Centurion is seeking a highly organised and solutions-focused Transport Scheduler PM to support our linehaul operations. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role responsible for coordinating drivers and prime movers, ensuring smooth nightly operations, and responding to real-time challenges.

The Opportunity
You will take ownership of afternoon and evening scheduling activities, ensuring fleet utilisation is maximised and operational disruptions are managed effectively. This role operates Monday to Friday, 4:00pm – 12:00am, playing a critical part in maintaining service reliability across the linehaul network.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day transport operations, focusing on linehaul driver tasking and fleet allocation
• Allocate prime movers and drivers efficiently to meet operational requirements
• Monitor fleet availability, maintenance needs, and utilisation across the network
• Respond to operational challenges in real time, including breakdowns, absenteeism, and equipment issues
• Ensure continuity of operations and minimal disruption to service delivery
• Maintain compliance with WA fatigue management regulations and NHVR requirements
• Liaise with drivers, internal teams, and key stakeholders to ensure clear communication and coordination
• Support continuous improvement of scheduling processes and operational efficiency

About You

• Previous experience in transport scheduling or fleet allocation within a large-scale operation
• Strong understanding of linehaul operations and fleet management
• Knowledge of WA and NHVR fatigue management requirements
• Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve in a dynamic environment
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage with drivers and stakeholders
