We are looking for an experienced Process Worker / Forklift Driver to join this long-established business who have been making professional and quality horticultural products for over fifty years!

The Opportunity

In this fantastic opportunity, you will play a vital role within the production team, contributing to the positive team culture and safety standards of the company’s manufacturing operations. You will contribute to ensuring production processes are followed by maintaining effective communication between all employees.

On a daily basis you will be operating the forklift - including loading and unloading of trucks and replenishing raw materials. You will be participating in scheduled housekeeping tasks across the site, as well as troubleshooting any operational issues that may arise.

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of housekeeping and sanitation within the production area and will document and report any issues that may arise with the Production Supervisor.

 Requirements

• Experience working as a Process worker in a manufacturing or warehousing environment

• Current Forklift licence

• Current Drivers licence

• Willing to undergo pre-employment medical check

• Willing to undergo random drug and alcohol screening

• Positive Attitude and a willingness to learn

• Strong communication skills for working with a variety of stakeholders

• 'Can do' attitude

• Physically fit to handle the manual handling demands of the position

• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment

• Full working rights in Australia

This position will commence as soon as possible (depending upon if you need to provide any notice period).

This is a full time position working Monday to Thursday 5.00am to 1.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid meal break. The hours on Friday are 5.00am to 11.00am with no meal break by agreement.
