HIVE Attendant (Full-Time, Overnight & Daytime Role)

At 1 Hotel Melbourne, our HIVE isn’t home to bees it’s the buzzing heart of guest communication. As our HIVE Attendant, you’ll be the calm, confident voice supporting guests overnight, handling everything from inquiries to urgent matters with warmth and poise.

If you thrive in a people-focused environment, love problem solving, and enjoy the flexibility of night shifts and day shift, this is for you. The role will consist of 3 overnight shifts, then 2 day shifts and working alongside a dedicate and fun team.

What You’ll Do:

• Be the first point of contact for all incoming calls, emails, and guest requests
• Deliver accurate hotel information in a friendly, clear, and professional manner
• Manage inbound and outbound communication, directing queries to the right departments
• Support guests by resolving issues or escalating when needed
• Handle urgent matters or emergencies with composure and attentiveness
• Maintain thorough documentation of emergencies or critical situations
• Stay calm and solutions-focused during peak activity or unexpected challenges
• Support the smooth operation of the HIVE department while upholding brand standards

What You’ll Bring

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience (preferred)
• Confident written and verbal communication
• A professional, warm, steady demeanor
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours
• High accuracy in computer system use and data entry
• Comfort working within a 24/7 hotel environment
• Full Australian Driver License (required)
