Lead one of Sydney's most iconic American sports bars.
Surly's is built around three things: incredible American BBQ, live sport and genuine hospitality.We're looking for a Venue Manager who wants more than just running shifts. About the Role
As Venue Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our Surry Hills venue while building a strong team culture and delivering an exceptional guest experience.You'll work closely with senior leadership to drive sales, improve performance and continue developing one of Sydney's best destinations for sport, BBQ and great beer.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team.Driving exceptional customer service and guest experiences.Managing labour costs, stock control and venue profitability.Maintaining high operational and presentation standards.Working with our leadership team on events, activations and business growth.Creating a positive culture built around accountability, teamwork and hospitality.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous Venue Manager or senior hospitality management experience.Is a confident leader who enjoys developing people.Understands the commercial side of running a successful venue.Thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.Has excellent organisational and communication skills.Takes ownership and solves problems before they become issues.Has a genuine interest in live sport, American BBQ, craft beer and creating memorable guest experiences.
