Project Engineer (Fitout)

The Role

We are seeking a Project Engineer specific to an exciting new commercial fitout project. The role will entail the following:

• Based on site in the Melbourne CBD

• Being the key link between the design and construction implementation on site

• RFIs and resolution in line with the construction programme

• QA/ITPs

• Directing and issuing instructions to subcontractors

• Instigating, following up, and closing out of submittals in line with programme

• Maintaining project documents

• Documenting meetings

• Assisting with OH&S documentation

• Assisting with claims and variations

• Documenting, actioning and close out of defects

The Candidate

Consider applying if you fit the following criteria:

• Have a relevant qualification - tertiary and trade qualifications considered.

• Have experience using typical industry software e.g. Procore, Breadcrumb or Hammertech, Bluebeam, Microsoft suite

• Can clearly demonstrate a minimum of 5 years' experience on relevant fitout projects

• Ability to handle the pressure of a fast paced project and environment

• Able to interpret construction programmes

• Are a systematic operator, while also being dynamic and open to alternative methods

• Keen to work in a small team, in a growing business with opportunity for a permanent role.

Remuneration to be determined based on experience and suitability.
