Experienced Barista – High-Volume Café

About the role

Degani Forest Hill is seeking an experienced casual barista to join our team in a busy, high-volume café located at Forest Hill Chase.

This role offers approximately 16–24 hours per week and requires availability for early morning and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consistently high-quality espresso-based beverages
• Adjust and dial in the grinder when required
• Produce consistent milk texture and coffee presentation
• Manage multiple coffee orders efficiently during busy periods
• Maintain a clean, organised and fully stocked coffee station
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members

About you

• At least two years of recent barista experience in a busy café
• Confident working independently on a high-volume coffee station
• Strong espresso preparation and milk-texturing skills
• Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a team
• Available for early morning and weekend shifts
• Valid Australian working rights

What we offer

• Casual employment with approximately 16–24 hours per week
• $33.85–$36 per hour, depending on experience and Award classification
• Applicable weekend and public holiday penalty rates
• A stable role within an established café at Forest Hill Chase
