About the role
Job description
Selective Industries is a well-established, family-owned workwear and industrial supply business based in Stirling. We are seeking an experienced, dependable and hands-on Finance Administrator to take ownership of our day-to-day finance, payroll and general accounts functions within our close-knit team of 10 employees.
This permanent part-time position is four days per week, offering the stability of regular working hours and an excellent work–life balance. It would suit an experienced professional looking for a meaningful, long-term position where they can use their skills and take genuine ownership of their role, while still enjoying a weekday away from work.
We are looking for a confident, organised and approachable person who can work independently, use initiative and maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. You will communicate directly with the business owners and work closely with employees, customers and suppliers.
About the job;
Process payroll in Acumatica, including PAYG, superannuation and related administration.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards and petty cash.
Prepare and process quarterly Business Activity Statements.
Manage accounts payable, including invoices, supplier reconciliations and payments.
Manage accounts receivable, customer statements and outstanding debt collection.
Process creditor and debtor credit applications and provide trade references.
Prepare ad hoc financial reports for management and external accountants.
Complete end-of-month and end-of-year filing and archiving.
Maintain Acumatica pricing records and business pricing schedules.
Purchase products and supplies and communicate issues or requirements to management.
Maintain professional communication, follow company policies and support a safe, organised workplace.
Previous hands-on experience using Acumatica or MYOB Advanced is essential.
About you;
5 year+ experience in Finance Administration, Payroll & HR
3+ years experience in MYOB Advanced/Acumatica
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Positive attitude, personality, energy and charisma.
A high level of ownership, accountability and initiative.
Strong people and communication skills - including in-person, email and telephone.
