About the role
Sales Executive – Part-Time (20 hours per week) Down Under Tours
Since 1990, Down Under Tours has been connecting guests to the best of Cairns and Tropical North Queensland from Kuranda's rainforest to the Daintree, Cape Tribulation and Cooktown. As the region's premium touring and coach transport experts, we're looking for a part-time Sales Executive to grow our coach charter business by building relationships with the schools, agents, and industry partners who bring guests to us.
What you'll do
Identify and convert new coach charter opportunities across the education, leisure, and MICE markets
Build and maintain relationships with schools, education agents, study tour operators, hotel sales teams, and industry networks
Prepare and deliver proposals and quotations that win business
Track enquiries and quotations through the sales pipeline, following up to maximise conversions
Deliver presentations, training sessions, and sales meetings with agents and partners — in person and online
What you'll bring
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
A self-starter mindset with strong initiative and follow-through
Confidence presenting, pitching, and building rapport with agents
Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
