About the role
Role Description The Junior Project Coordinator is a full-time, remote role responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of rural development projects. This role includes coordinating project activities, maintaining project documentation, and assisting with scheduling, reporting, and communication among internal teams and external partners. The Junior Project Coordinator will help track project timelines and deliverables, compile progress reports, and support data collection and basic analysis for project evaluations. The role involves regular virtual meetings, follow-ups with stakeholders, and collaboration with project leads to ensure that field-level activities align with project objectives and donor requirements.QualificationsStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders in a remote environment.Basic project coordination or project management skills, including documentation, scheduling, and reporting.Ability to use common digital tools and platforms (e.g., email, office productivity software, online collaboration tools).Interest in rural development, social impact, or the non-profit sector; prior exposure to community-based projects is an advantage.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving and follow-up.Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, rural development, management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.Capacity to work independently in a remote setup while collaborating effectively with team members across locations.
