About the role
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027
Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. The School
Sevenoaks Senior College (SC) is committed to developing a unique model of 21st Century Senior Schooling to ensure that every student is well equipped to deal with the opportunities of their post school pathways.
Sevenoaks SC is a standalone senior college being only one of two in the metropolitan area which offer specialised pathways to senior school students in Years 11 and 12. Students enrol with us from over 40 schools and represent over 60 cultures. The Role
Sevenoaks SC is seeking a teacher who can ideally teach Mathematics in the senior secondary, with a depth of experience teaching a combination of Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) level courses including Maths Methods and Maths Applications for Year 11 and 12 students.
The successful applicant should be a highly organised educator with strong written and verbal communication skills, who can ideally develop and deliver engaging programs that are differentiated, challenging, caring and creative. The ideal applicant should display a commitment to catering for the diverse needs of all students to ensure every learner can progress and achieve success.
The successful applicant will ideally display a passion for student engagement and the ability to inspire learners to achieve their personal best. You would work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team, supporting the initiatives and programs within the Mathematics Learning Area. A commitment to ongoing professional learning and collaboration with internal and external networks is highly regarded.
