Sales Consultant
Hancock Memorials is a proud family-owned monumental masonry company with a long history of helping families create lasting tributes to honour their loved ones. We are committed to providing exceptional service during some of life's most important moments, and we are currently seeking a full-time Sales Consultant to join our caring and dedicated team.
This rewarding and varied role offers the opportunity to work alongside a friendly, experienced, and supportive team, helping families create meaningful memorials while delivering outstanding customer service.
About the Role
As a Sales Consultant, you will play an important role in supporting families through the memorial selection process. Your responsibilities will include:
Meeting with families to help them create memorials that reflect and celebrate the lives of their loved ones.
Responding to customer enquiries and preparing quotations.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with funeral directors, cemetery boards, local councils, and government organisations.
Providing exceptional customer service with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, motivated, and enjoys working with people. The ideal candidate will possess:
A friendly and empathetic nature, with the ability to communicate sensitively with bereaved families.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
Professional and confident telephone manner.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow processes and meet deadlines.
Some previous sales experience.
